Promethean Board (Cost: $2,000-$3,000)
This is the modern whiteboard with tools to help enhance any lesson, and the newest have internet connection capabilities to help make video displays easier. Makes demonstrations, and activities that require step-by-step much more interactive.

2. Robo 3D Printer (Cost: $1,000)
In connection with my stem kits program, this tech and pre-made lessons help increase student engagement, can connect various STEM concepts and increase student retention.

3. Kahoot! (Cost: Free for demo; $36-$109 annual fee)
It is a great swap for a multiple-choice printed test. It has features to put things in chronological order, or can be used for spelling words, reviewing concepts, and generating automatic reports.

4. Scratch Software (Cost: Free)
An amazing way for students to recreate stories of the bible, and model ethical lessons like kindness, or create their own games in a world where gaming and game design are increasing.

5. Typetastic (Cost: Free for demo; $60-$300 annual fee)
Gaming, texting, and iPad usage skills are vastly different from typing skills. Speech-to-text is also growing, but it is still impractical in the classroom, and typing is still needed for many virtual jobs, which is another growing trend.
